This Membership Option is exclusively available only to clients who are uninsured or have out-of-network insurance plans (i.e., plans we are not in-network with and do not accept). Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare recipients are not eligible for this Membership Option.
Clients with in-network insurance plans we accept are not eligible for this Membership Option. Clients with in-network insurance should use their insurance benefits. If you are insured with a plan that we are in-network with, our provider contract requires us to submit claims to your insurance for services provided. Clients cannot opt to self-pay to bypass insurance claims. Clients will be subject to the conditions and service-related fees set forth by their health plan coverages.
The Membership Option is priced at $395 per month and includes four (4) counseling sessions within each billing cycle. This rate provides significant savings compared to the standard pay-as-you-go rate of $125 per session. A billing cycle refers to the recurring period during which your membership fee is charged. Our billing cycle is monthly. Your monthly membership fee of $395 will be automatically charged to the credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card (as allowed by your HSA/FSA administrator) that you have on file. The charge will occur each month on the anniversary of the date that you start your membership. For example, if you begin your membership on the 10th of the month, your next billing date will be the 10th of the following month, and every month thereafter.
As part of your membership, you are entitled to four (4) pre-paid counseling sessions each billing cycle. These sessions must be scheduled and used within your billing cycle they are paid for. For example, if your billing cycle starts on the 10th of the month, you must schedule and use your four sessions before the next billing date, which will be the 10th of the following month. Any unused sessions will not roll over to the next billing cycle and will be forfeited. You may book your sessions by logging into your Gramercy account and booking the sessions through your Dashboard.
A “no-show” refers to a situation where a client fails to attend their scheduled session for any reason, without providing prior notice or cancellation. You will only be able to log into your session within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment. If you miss a scheduled session or attempt to log in after the initial 15 minutes of the session, you will forfeit that session and the session will also be considered a “no show”. No shows and missed sessions will count towards your total of 4 sessions for the month.
You must cancel or reschedule your appointments by logging into your Gramercy account and making the changes directly on your Dashboard at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. You may not cancel or reschedule with your therapist, and this is because the therapists do not have the capacity to cancel or reschedule your appointments for you. You may reschedule a session one time per appointment, provided the rescheduling request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. If you cancel and do not reschedule, or miss a session without rescheduling, the session will be considered used and will count towards your 4 sessions per month. If you try to reschedule an existing session with less than 24 hours notice of the scheduled appointment, you will not be able to do so and the scheduled session will also count towards your 4 sessions per month.
Sessions scheduled on the final day of the billing cycle cannot be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend, that session will be forfeited as it cannot be carried over into the next billing cycle. To maximize your membership, all 4 sessions must be used within the billing cycle covered by your monthly payment.
Additional Sessions: If you would like to schedule more than 4 prepaid sessions in a month, additional sessions can be booked at the rate of $98.75 per session. You may schedule a maximum of two sessions per week under the Membership Option. The Additional Sessions are subject to the same rescheduling & cancellation policies that apply to the Membership Option.
Payment Terms: Clients must maintain a valid credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card on file for automatic payment processing. Failure to maintain valid payment information or non-payment may result in termination of the membership and an inability to obtain continued services through the Membership Option.
Membership Cancellation and Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable, even if sessions are unused or if the membership is canceled mid-billing cycle. You may cancel your membership at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the remainder of the current billing cycle’s membership fee. To cancel your membership, you simply need to log into your Gramercy account, navigate to “Settings,” and select “Deactivate Account. After cancellation, you may still continue using the service until the end of the current billing cycle.
Session Policies: Sessions offered through the Membership Option typically last 50 minutes but time parameters can vary due to a variety of factors.
Clients may reschedule a session once per appointment, with the exception of the last day of the billing cycle. If a session is canceled or missed without rescheduling, it will be forfeited and it will count towards the 4 sessions per month included in the membership. We encourage you to reschedule your session when possible, instead of just canceling it so that you may achieve the maximum benefit of your membership.
If you arrive late to a session or leave early, the session will still end at the scheduled time. Additional time cannot be added to future sessions to make up for the missed time
You will only be able to log into your session within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment. Failure to log in within the first 15 minutes will be considered a “No Show” and the session will be counted towards your 4 sessions per billing cycle.
Clients may schedule up to 2 sessions per week max under the Membership Option. Sessions scheduled on the final day of the billing cycle cannot be rescheduled. To maximize your membership, all 4 sessions must be used within the billing cycle that is covered by your monthly payment.
How To Cancel/Reschedule Appointments: Clients may schedule, cancel or reschedule their appointments by logging into their Gramercy Counseling account and initiating the change on their Dashboard. Clients may not cancel or reschedule their appointments with their therapist, as the therapist does not have the capacity to issue or change appointments.
Non-Insurance Payment: The Membership Option is a self-pay model and does not involve insurance billing. Clients using this option are not eligible for insurance reimbursement but may request a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement from their carrier. We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will provide reimbursement for services rendered.

Automatic Renewal: Membership will automatically renew monthly unless canceled.
Confidentiality & Compliance: All services provided under the Membership Option are subject to the same confidentiality protections as all other services, in compliance with HIPAA and state laws. Personal health information and payment details will be handled with the highest standards of security and privacy.
Notification of Changes: You are responsible for notifying us of any changes to your insurance status or payment method by contacting us at support@mygramercycounseling.
Failure to maintain valid payment information or non-payment may result in cancellation of future appointments or inability to obtain continued services under the Membership Option.
